Transportation Payment Benchmark Study Released — 2015
BLOG

The sixth annual “Transportation Payment Benchmark Study” was released by American Shipper in cooperation with the Council of Supply Chain Management (CSCMP), the National Retail Federation (NRF) and the Retail Industry Logistics Association (RILA).

A3 Freight Payment is the sole independent freight payment provider to sponsor the research and its publication by American Shipper. “We are extremely proud of our sponsorship of the study. For the last six years, this benchmark report has been THE clearest look into the state of freight payment practices among shippers.” said Ross Harris, CEO of A3 Freight Payment.

This year’s study subtitled “The Cost of Ignorance” highlights the lack of shipper awareness around issues of finance due diligence in freight payment. Ironically, A3 Freight Payment has highlighted these issues from its inception. “Shippers seem to be unaware of how to focus their energies in the due diligence process,” said Harris. “Although we had nothing to do with this direction of the study, we are thrilled the researchers have highlighted this area where A3 Freight Payment has proven and long-standing competency.”
